Assets & Other Union Properties
To attain the up-to-date musical instruments and other union properties required in every department, facilitating intensive and effective training of the involved personnel to ensure proper management and sustainability of the assets and the other union properties for efficient services, mission work and evangelism.
Context & Trend
The assets portray the value landscape of a given organization. In a quickly evolving world, there is need to quickly adapt into the significant changes that would enhance the growth of every member in the organization. The technological advancement is quickly radiating and dominating the atmosphere. The use of old and wearing instruments during the services has posed its own challenges as the instruments cannot meet the required threshold of service.
The JOOUST CU has for a considerable couple of years managed to conduct the services regardless of the emanating setbacks that have been recorded. Being a big and growing Christian Union, through the radical assessment of the Union's properties and assets, the union has recorded a gap in the assets' condition. The poor musical instruments' condition has posed the CU into a high risk of loss as more funds have been occasionally channelled towards the repair and maintenance of the instruments which keep on failing in the course of the service.
The assets, particularly the musical instruments, have also been subjected to other keynote risks like poor handling and storage which increase the damage caused. The allowance of the untrained personnel to handle these instruments becomes the source of the risk.
